  • To generate RentFAX risk scores and reports for rental operators
  • To verify renter identity and detect fraud signals
  • To allow renters to view and dispute their own records
  • To improve platform accuracy and safety

Who we share it with

  • Authorized rental operators who search for a renter with consent
  • Identity verification partners (for ID document validation)
  • Legal authorities when required by law or court order
  • We do not sell your data to advertisers or data brokers

Your rights

  • View your full RentFAX profile at any time
  • Dispute any inaccurate record in your history
  • Request a copy of all data we hold about you
  • Request account deactivation (records retained for compliance — see Terms §11)

Data retention

Rental records, reports, and incident filings are retained for a minimum of 7 years for compliance, dispute resolution, and fraud prevention purposes. Account deactivation does not delete underlying records.
